CLAUDE.md templates, skills, hooks, commands and subagents for Claude Code.
Who it's for
- You use Claude Code every day and want a starting setup with its own test suite instead of collecting snippets from threads.
- You want guard rails: hooks that stop secrets being written to files, edits to lockfiles and force-pushes to main.
- You set up Claude Code for a team or for client repositories and want the same skills and commands everywhere.
Not for you if you don't use Claude Code: the kit is built around its hooks, skills and subagents.
What's inside
Plain Markdown, JSON and zero-dependency Node.js, with an offline test suite you can run yourself.
- CLAUDE.md templates for a Next.js app, a Python service, a Salesforce DX project, n8n workflows kept in git, a monorepo, a library and a minimal one for anything else.
- Skills for PR review, writing tests, debugging a failing test, safe refactoring, release notes, docs sync, ADRs, a quick security review, Salesforce deploy checks and n8n workflow review.

Setup
Requirements
- Claude Code 2.1.139 or later (exec-form hooks); tested with 2.1.284, and a Claude plan or API key that includes Claude Code
- Node.js 22 or newer for the hook scripts, the installer and the tests (no dependencies)
- macOS or Linux (Windows via WSL)
- Git, for the session-context hook, the review skills and the guard-bash branch check
- Unzip and run the offline checks:
cd claude-code-kit && npm test. - Preview what the installer would add to a repository (nothing is written):
node install/install.mjs --target ~/code/my-app --all --pick claude-md:minimal. - Install by running the same command with
--apply. - Fill in the
<placeholders>in the repository'sCLAUDE.md. - Start Claude Code in the repository, check
/hooksand/agents, then ask Claude to write a.envfile and watch the block-secrets hook stop it.
Time to first result: about 10 minutes.

Questions
When can I buy it?
When the last check is done: a live run of the kit inside Claude Code and the remaining screenshots. The offline test suite already passes. I haven't set a date; leave your email above and I'll tell you when it's on sale.
Which Claude Code version do I need?
Claude Code 2.1.139 or later (the hooks use the exec form added in that version), with a Claude plan or API key that includes Claude Code. The kit was checked against Claude Code 2.1.284.
Will the installer overwrite my files?
No. It previews every change, skips files you already have unless you pass --force, and keeps a backup of any
settings it merges.
How do updates work?
New versions go to your Gumroad library; download them from there. Changes are listed in the CHANGELOG inside the zip.
Can I use it for client work?
Yes, in unlimited personal and commercial projects, including client repositories. You can't resell or share the kit itself.
